RECENT PROJECTS
Sound Mitigation
The New Zealand Masters Games are held biannually in Wanganui and attracts 7,000 – 8,000 visitors over a ten day period. The event revolves around a central games village which incorporates a sound stage. Problems had been experienced with complaints from nearby properties about excessive noise.
Citi-Box provided the solution by building a container wall around the site. Working with noise and environment consultants, Wanganui District Council Tenex and Citi-Box completed this project. This approach can easily be adapted for other noisy industrial situations.
Dangerous Goods Stores
Citi-Box has developed a range of container modifications that provide a cost effective solution to the storage of dangerous goods. We have worked with councils and businesses to provide modified containers that meet requirements for storage of dangerous goods.
An excellent example is one recently built for the Wanganui Transfer Station.
Design was undertaken with council and compliance representatives. We built a three sector dangerous goods shed from a modified container. Each room within the container meets the various class type of fluid and dangerous goods storage.
These types of modifications can be widely changed to meet many different client applications and dangerous goods storage or storage applications.
Short Term Bulk Storage Solutions
Citi-Box is able to provide containers that are prepared and meet NZ Dairy Board specifications for food grade types of storage requirements. Having formed relationships with a number of other companies we are able to supply large quantities of containers to meet seasonal storage and logistic demands while also organising all related transport and logistics needs.
Strategic venture partners recently completed storage and logistic solutions for the Dairy Trust milk processing site in Awarua, South Island, New Zealand, where extra storage demands and product overflow meant a practical and cost effective storage solution was required. Along with their contracted transport operator, 75 containers were prepared to meet NZ Dairy Board standards and delivered to client for loading and storage.
Corporate Branding
Our client, Suzuki NZ, required a modified container to carry racing car parts and promotional material around New Zealand at selected race meetings. In consultation with Suzuki, we designed and built a purpose built parts transporter.
The container was sign wrtten and branded in Suzuki corporate race team colours and Genuine Parts signage. The container was also adapted to be a stage back drop and signage wall for prize giving after events.
